Test Preparation

  • Do you need to prepare for a certification or civil service exam?
  • Would you like to improve your job hunting skills?

When it comes to taking a variety of tests, being well prepared can help you do your best. The Alvin Sherman Library offers free online test preparation to help improve your test taking skills. The library also offers a Test Preparation Guide that lists books, study guides, ebooks, websites, and other helpful resources available from the library.

The following Test Practice and Preparation Tools are available by logging in below:

  • LearnATest at LearningExpressLibrary.com.
    LearnATest provides online practice exams for various academic, certification, civil service and citizenship exams, even FCAT tests. It also includes general resources for test preparation and skill-building practice.

  • Testing & Education Reference Center from Thomson Gale
    Test preparation section provides practice tests and test preparation materials for numerous academic, civil service, and licensing tests. Registration required.

  • Exam Master Online - NSU faculty and students only
    Exam Master provides practice tests for the U.S. Medical Licensing Exam Steps 1, 2, and 3. Delivers feedback on user performance. Registration required.
