Genealogy Collection: Research Requests

Due to staff limitations, the Reference Department at the Alvin Sherman Library can only conduct very limited Research Requests within the Genealogy Collection. At this time, only brief lookups with the Genealogy Collection's print materials can be honored.

Due to copyright restrictions, the Reference Department cannot under any circumstances conduct research within our Genealogy Databases or within the collected Compiled Genealogies and Pedigrees [coming soon] housed in the University Archives.

Those in need of more expansive research services might consider contacting the area's local genealogy societies for assistance, although the Library does not, in any manner, endorse the research services of these groups.
