PubMed, available via the NCBI Entrez retrieval system, was developed
by the National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) at the
National Library of Medicine (NLM), located at the U.S. National Institutes
of Health (NIH).
PubMed is a service of the U.S. National Library
of Medicine that includes over 17 million citations from MEDLINE and
other
life science journals
for biomedical articles. PubMed includes links to
full text articles and other related resources.
Sources
PubMed lets you search millions of bibliographic citations and abstracts
in the fields of medicine, nursing, dentistry, veterinary medicine,
the health care system, and preclinical sciences. It provides access
to MEDLINE® and to articles in selected life sciences journals
not included in MEDLINE.
