It is easy to begin to feel overwhelmed with all the literature that is available in the field of Education. If you have answered yes to the all or some of the above, watch this 20-minute video on how to locate education resources and use the library. Then follow the five steps through the module…and be SMART!

• Step 1 -- Finding Journal Articles (EJs) in ERIC
• Step 2 -- Finding ERIC Documents (EDs) in ERIC
• Step 3 -- Finding Empirical Research
• Step 4 -- Finding Full-text Articles Online
• Step 5 -- Finding Articles using Health Related Resources

At each step, you will be asked to use a resource and answer questions. If you have questions about the terminology in this exercise, consult this Glossary of Library and Internet Terms.

Before you begin, please review the following carefully:

• You will need to finish the activities in one sitting. Please allow yourself ample time to complete each step.
  
• Print each page or write down all the information from each step because you will need it to complete the next activities. 
  
• After completing each step, you will receive an email confirmation that contains the information you submitted for that particular step. You will receive five emails in total.
  
• To receive credit for the activity, be sure to forward the confirmation email message to your instructor.
