STEP 4
Locating Country Information

As globalization becomes an issue for all companies, it is important to be able to locate country information about everything from import/export regulations to licensing regulations in various countries, as well as finding out about the political risk that may factor into decisions about where to make investments. EIU.com [country intelligence only] is an excellent online source for finding information about these types of questions.

Activity 4

Locating Country Information

  1. Go to the Alvin Sherman Library at www.nova.edu/library/main/ and select the Electronic Resources link located at the top of the page.
  2. From the drop-down menu, select the "Databases" link and then select "NSU Patron".
  3. Under "Browse by database name", select the letter "A".
  4. Scroll the list and select "ABI/Inform Complete" - ProQuest".
  5. When prompted enter your "SharkLink ID" and "SharkLink Password" and then select the Submit button.
  6. From the top of the ProQuest page, select the "Browse" tab.
  7. Scroll down the page and under the "Country Reports" heading, select the "Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU) Country Forecast Reports" link.
  8. Next select the "By Location" tab, then select a region.
  9. Finally scroll the list and select a country.
  10. Enter the information below.
