Locating Country Information

As globalization becomes an issue for all companies, it is important to be able to locate country information about everything from import/export regulations to licensing regulations in various countries, as well as finding out about the political risk that may factor into decisions about where to make investments. EIU is an excellent online source for finding information about these types of questions.

Activity 4

Locating Country Information

1. Go to the library database EIU (Economic Intelligence Unit ).

2. When prompted, enter your Sharklink ID and password to access the database.

3. Click "Browse" at the top of the page. Locate the "Business" heading and select "Country Reports" to expand the menu. Select "Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU) Country Data."

4. Select a country by clicking on a region name to show the list of countries. To read individual reports, click on Spreadsheet.

5. Enter the information below:
