This activity uses Hoover's Company Profiles, however NetAdvantage and LexisNexis Business provide similar information. Activity 2 Finding Company Data 1. Go to the library database Hoover's Company Profiles. 2. When prompted, use your Sharklink ID and password to access the database. 3. Locate the "Search Options" section of the Advanced Search page. In the "Company/organization" search box type the name of a company you'd like to search for. For example, you could type Home Depot or Lowes. Then click on the "Search" button. 4. From the results page, click on the company name of the profile you'd like to view. 5. Brief information about the company can be found on the resulting page. Click on "Link to full text" to view the full text of the company profile. 6.
