Celebrating Chihuly at NSU

April 25-29, 2007, at the Alvin Sherman Library

Schedule of Programs

Come Celebrate Chihuly at NSU with fun programs for children, teens, and adults.

“You Design It, We Make It”
Calling artists of all ages! Submit your artwork and you may see it turned into glass! To help us celebrate Chihuly, we've invited the Corning Museum of Glass HotShop Roadshow to demonstrate the art and science of glassmaking. You could see your drawing or your child's drawing recreated in glass. Submit your artwork today! Just draw/color a picture of any object and send it to:

Alvin Sherman Library, Research, and Information
   Technology Center
Attention: Marketing Department
Nova Southeastern University
3100 Ray Ferrerro, Jr. Blvd.
Ft. Lauderdale, Florida 33314

Include your name, age, address, telephone number and email on artwork. Children's submissions (under 18) must be submitted by a parent or guardian and include parent or guardian name and email. All submissions must be received by April 20, 2007. Drawings will be randomly selected and created by the Corning glass artists. Selected drawings will be produced on Friday, April 27th; Saturday, April 28; and Sunday, April 29. Selected artists will be notified by phone. All drawings will be displayed at the library. Drawings cannot be returned.
