About the Foundations & Grants Collection

The Alvin Sherman Library serves as a Cooperating Collection for The Foundation Center and provides a wide range of services to help those involved in preparing grants and soliciting funds from foundations. Cooperating Collections are free, funding information centers in libraries, community foundations, and other nonprofit resource centers that provide a core collection of Foundation Center publications and a variety of supplementary materials and services in areas useful to grant seekers.

The Foundations and Grants Collection is open to the public. Librarians at the Sherman Library can answer basic, factual telephone or email inquiries regarding the collection. For more complex or special research needs, please visit the Sherman Library. To arrange an individual introduction or group tour of the collection please contact the Reference Desk at (954)262-4613 or email refdesk@nova.edu.

NOTE: The Foundation Center now offers access to current 990s. Use their Foundation Finder to locate them.
