Check-in Upon Arrival
Upon arrival to the U.S., you must immediately check-in (IN PERSON) at the Office of International Students and Scholars (OISS).
The check-in process is a requirement for your maintaining international student status. Failure to check-in will result in the automatic termination of your I-20 and student status.
When you checks in, please bring in the following documents to the OISS:
- I-94 card
- I-20
- Passport containing your F-1 visa stamp (Canadian and Bermudian students are visa exempt)
- Local mailing address and phone number
- Certificate of Completion of Virtual Pre-Arrival Orientation
If you attend one of NSU's Student Education Centers (SECs) in Florida, please contact the Center's Director or Assistant Director for check-in instructions.
