Pan Yatrakis

Dr. Pan G. Yatrakis is Professor of Finance and Economics and Chair of the Finance and Economics faculty at the H. Wayne Huizenga School of Business and Entrepreneurship. He has been with NSU as an adjunct professor since 1993, and as a full-time faculty member since July, 1996. Dr. Yatrakis teaches Economics and Finance at both the master's and doctoral levels. He chairs several doctoral dissertation committees, and his current research interests are in the areas of efficient markets and behavioral finance. He has numerous publications and presentations at academic conferences.

Dr. Yatrakis was Chief Economist of the Xerox Corporation from 1973 to 1982, and Senior Partner of The Center for Economic Analysis between 1982 and 1990. He has taught at New York University’s Stern School of Business Administration, Sacred Heart University's John F. Welch College of Business, Seton Hall University, and the University of Bridgeport. Dr. Yatrakis is active in the field of economic consulting, primarily in forensic economics and litigation support. He has served as an expert witness in numerous cases involving economic damages.

Dr. Yatrakis received his B.A., M.B.A., and Master of International Affairs Degrees from Columbia University. His Ph.D. is from the New York University Stern School of Business Administration, in International Economics and International Business.
