Environmental Health
Jill Savery is an environmental consultant with ten years of experience in the private, public, and not-for-profit sectors. Ms. Savery holds a Master's Degree in Environmental Management from Yale University's School of Forestry and Environmental Studies, where she focused on urban sustainability challenges and solutions, climate change science and mitigation, low-impact and restorative environmental design, with an emphasis on sport and the environment. She is an Olympian and won a gold medal at the 1996 Olympic Games in synchronized swimming and eight consecutive team World Championships.
She was inducted into the United States Synchronized Swimming Hall of Fame, and was the US National Team captain in 1989, 1991, and 1994. Jill was the athlete representative for the sport of synchronized swimming to the United States Olympic Committee from 2000-2002. She is currently a co-opted expert to the Commission for a Sustainable London 2012, and is a Board member and Chair of the Environment Committee for the 2008 International Children's Games.
