About the Conference

This advanced forum is an extraordinary learning experience, designed specifically for those who want to enrich their knowledge of global health concerns as well as to galvanize the mutual efforts of rising coalitions, and partnerships.

The 2007 Health Ministerial Declaration, released at the International Pediatric Congress, is the cornerstone used to launch a multinational exchange building toward the 2008 International Child Health Forum.

Participants will be offered the rare opportunity to directly participate in promoting standards reflective of the Global Health Ministerial Declaration in the spirit of the Olympic ideals. To address the goal of examining and sharing best practices, the International Child Health Forum will serve to foster global partnerships, collaborations, and alliances by providing platforms to encourage communications between participants. NSU Office of Internet Technology will provide special videoconferencing capabilities, live continuous Webinar broadcasting of the forum and PODcast made available on the internet thus transforming the forum into a world of global learning.

The NSU Institute for Child Health Policy will publish the identified strategies and best practices established by the participants. Participants will be encouraged to reconvene in Athens Greece at the 2009 International Child Games realizing this historic moment in time.
