Veterans Assistance

The Center for Assessment and Intervention at Nova Southeastern University in partnership with the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Post 8195, Stone of Hope Project and with funding provided by the United Way of Broward County offers free counseling and assessment services to OIF/OEF active duty service members, veterans and their families.

Who We Serve

The Center for Assessment and Intervention provides free individual therapy, family therapy, psychological/psychoeducational, testing, and vocational assessment services to Operation Enduring Freedom (OEF), Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF), and Operation New Dawn (OND) active duty service members, Veterans and their family members, including but not limited to, spouses, children, siblings, parents, grandparents and significant others.

The patient and any other person responsible for payment has a right to refuse to pay, cancel payment, or be reimbursed for payment for any other service, examination, or treatment that is performed as a result of and within 72 hours of responding to the advertisement for the free, discounted fee, or reduced fee service, examination, or treatment.
