Autism Graduate Programs

Based on over 25 years of experience providing educational programming to children with autism, MSC collaborates with the Abraham S. Fischler School of Education to provide a variety of options in autism coursework in education and human services.  Courses include master’s or education specialist courses that meet the requirements of the autism endorsement for the ESE educator’s certificate in the state of Florida and a minor in the Doctorate of Education (Ed.D.) program focusing on autism and leadership in education and human service settings.

Autism Master’s and Education Specialist Courses

The Abraham S. Fischler School of Education draws on the high level of autism expertise at MSC in a collaborative effort to provide the 4-course master’s series in autism to meet the requirements of the autism endorsement for the Florida Teaching Certificate.  These courses can be taken as a nonmatriculated student or as part of an M.S. in Education degree.  Courses are offered online and have included students from across the U.S. as well as internationally. Learn more...

Autism Doctoral Courses

As part of the Ed.D. program at the Abraham S. Fischler School of Education, MSI offers a 6-course series as a minor in autism.  These courses can be taken individually or as the full minor in the Ed.D. or as part of a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies (CAGS). The educational focus of the courses is on building leaders for the autism communities in the fields of education and human services.  Courses are offered online and include bi-weekly contact with instructors over the internet and dynamic web-content and resources.  Doctoral chairs / advisors are available to assist with research and doctoral projects in the areas of autism in your workplace.
