• Journals are arranged by full title, except for beginning articles ("a, an, the"). 
Do not ignore such words as "the" or "of" in the middle of the title, however. 
For example, JAMA is shelved under Journal of the American Medical Association.

• Journals may not be taken out of the library.

• New issues of journals are sent out to be bound twice a year, in May and December. 
These issues will be unavailable in print for approximately three weeks.
