ChemBioFinder WebServer is a chemical database which also provides physical property data and 2D chemical structures. This information is available for several thousand common compounds. An added benefit is the list of sites indexed which according to the owners of the site is the largest single list of chemical information WWW sites available.

This comprehensive site provides access to the day's top medical headlines, CE, professional discussion boards. Find drug, herbal, patient, and disease management information. Users must register to access all the sites features but registration is free. This site is produced by Facts and Comparisons with input from Lippincott Williams & Wilkins and Adis publishers.

Martindale's Virtual Pharmacy Center 

An exhaustive collection of Pharmacy-related information on the WWW. Links at this site range from interactive anatomy browsers to pharmacology guidelines to electronic journals to links to drug and pharmacology databases.

Medical Matrix

An extensive site to Internet clinical medicine resources compiled by Slack Inc. Introductory page is divided into specific medical topics or disciplines. Selecting the Pharmacotherapeutics option provides links to full-text journals, patient educat ion, forums, practice guidelines, reference documents and a connection to free MEDLINE access.

Pharmacy Times

Find practical information for today's pharmacist on this comprehensive website. The site provides helpful information including a guide for author submissions, compounding, generic drugs, herbal Q & A,  continuing and patient education.  No archive of past issues is available, however, a search for information may be done via the search engine provided.


Healthtouch Drug Information

This searchable database allows you to locate over-the-counter and prescription drugs and provides the generic name, information as to their proper administration, cautionary notes and possible side effects.

RxList 

RxList allows you to search the drug database, which contains over 4000 products currently on the United States market. Each drug entry includes description, clinical pharmacology, indications and usage, warnings, precautions, adverse reactions, d osage and administration and a list of journal article citations. This site also includes a Top 200 prescription drug list and a link to other pharmaceutical WWW sites.

USP Drug Guide at MAYO Clinic 

Drug monograph information from USP including proper usage, adverse effects, administration and dosage to over 8,000 prescription and over-the-counter medications. Check out the MAYO Clinic site, which contains valuable consumer health information. The Medicine Center link contains General Drug Information provided by USP regarding the proper usage of medications.
 

Academy of Managed Care Pharmacy 

The AMCP is an organization dedicated to practice of pharmaceutical care in managed care environments. The site contains links to information about meetings and education, legislative updates and position updates, membership benefits and services, and publications/resources, including the Journal of Managed Care Pharmacy in FULL TEXT.


Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education

ACPE is the sole accreditation agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education to accredit professional degree programs in pharmacy. ACPE's directory is the only directory of accredited professional degree programs in pharmacy recognized by the U.S. Department of Education. This site also provides information about the professional degree program accreditation process.


American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy
 

The American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy (AACP) is a national organization representing the interests of pharmaceutical education and educators. American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists

American College of Clinical Pharmacy

American Pharmacists Association

American Society of Health-System Pharmacists 

ASHP's site includes informational links on membership, career and professional development, calendar of ASHP events, the ASHP newsletter and an extensive list of pharmacy-related WWW sites, Residency training information, ASHP Practice Standards, and Continuing Education opportunities.

California Pharmacists Association 

The CphA site includes association and membership information, a calendar of nationwide pharmacy events, full-text news articles and press releases, excerpts from CPhA's publication, California Pharmacist and links to pharmacy-related WWW sites.

Florida Society of Health-System Pharmacists 

FSHP's site includes links to pharmaceutical companies, job opportunities, WWW print and electronic news sources and pharmacy-related WWW sites. For members only, the site includes links to meeting minutes, FSHP publications and a calendar of events.

National Association of Boards of Pharmacy 

The NABP site provides information about its activities, programs, and services. Specific information includes a listing and links to State Boards, information about tests such as the Disease State Management (DSM) exam, NAPLEX, Multistate Pharmacy Jurisprudence Examination, and soon to be accessible NABPLAW database searches.
