Put books, articles, class notes on reserve for my students

Select Place class notes, printed articles, books, etc. on reserve. Complete the form. If we have the title on the shelf, we will change its location to reserve. If we do not own the title, we will order it and then put it on reserve.

Put articles, book chapters, etc. on electronic reserve for my students

Select Put articles on Electronic Course Reserve and complete the form. Follow the directions for sending both the bibliography and the actual articles to be put on reserve. This procedure is actually done at the Sherman Library, so you will have to send clean copies to the address given in the instructions.

Suggest new titles for the library to purchase?

Select Suggest new titles and complete the form. Check Novacat first to see if we already own the book. You will be given the option of requesting the book to be placed in the Reserve, Reference or Circulating Books section of the library. We will notify you when the book is ready for checkout.

Order journal articles or books not in this library

Select Order journal articles not available at NSU. You will sign in to your own personal account with your last name and NSU ID number and then complete the citation information. Be sure to check first that the journal or book is not available either in the HPD Library or electronically. If the journal or book is in another campus library, faculty members may order it using this same form. Delivery of journal articles is done electronically via your email, and books must be picked up in the HPD Library.
