medical terminology in languages such as Dutch, German, Italian, Spanish,
Portuguese or Danish. An easily-searchable medical dictionary offered as a service
of Cancerweb. Technical vocabulary is used only by specialists and so is
not generally known by non-specialists. At this site you will find dictionaries
and glossaries of specialized words in the English language, from Accounting to
Wine. Taber's Cyclopedic Medical Dictionary The 18th
Edition of Taber's is available in full text from the Intelihealth
web site. Entries may be searched or browsed in the A-Z Index. The site includes
the text for each entry, but does not include illustrations, tables, or

Version.
Whonamedit.com is a biographical
dictionary of medical eponyms. While the dictionary is a
work in progress the aim of the creators is to compile a
complete survey of all medical phenomena named for a person,
with a biography of that person. Currently the databases
includes over 3,000 main entries. Eventually, this will
include more than 15,000 eponyms and more than 6,000 persons.
