Publishing Your Web Page
When you're finished creating your page, you need to publish it to allow others to see it on the Internet.
- Click on the Publish button on your toolbar. You'll see the following window:

- Next to Page Title, enter the title of your page. You can use uppercase or lowercase letters, as well as spaces and special characters. Next to HTML Filename: enter the name of the file - preferrably all lowercase letters with no dashes, spaces or special characters. If you've saved the file already, this information should show up automatically when you open the Publish window.

- Now you need to find your FTP address. This is based on your area of study at NSU. Please refer to the list below:
Undergraduate ONLY
ftp://polaris.nova.edu/home/username/public_html
Graduate Education ONLY
ftp://fgse.nova.edu/home/username/public_html
Graduate Computer Science ONLY
ftp://scis.nova.edu/home/username/public_html
Oceanography ONLY
ftp://ocean.nova.edu/home/username/public_html
Graduate Business ONLY
ftp://sbe.nova.edu/home/username/public_html
Health Professions ONLY
ftp://hpd.nova.edu/home/username/public_html
Law ONLY
ftp://law.nova.edu/home/username/public_html
Humanities and Social Sciences ONLY
ftp://shss.nova.edu/home/username/public_html
Graduate Psychology ONLY
ftp://cps.nova.edu/home/username/public_html
Administrative Staff ONLY
ftp://nsu.nova.edu/home/username/public_html
In all cases you need to substitute "username" with your NSU email name. For example, I am an Administrative Staff member so my ftp address is ftp://nsu.nova.edu/home/tamara/public_html

- Next you need to enter your username and password. Your username is your NSU email name. Your password is a combination of four letters and four numbers. Both should be entered with all lowercase letters. Put a check next to Save password.
- Under Other files to include, you should always have Files associated with this page selected.
- Click on OK. After you've successfully published your page, all the information in the Publish window will be saved.
- To view your page, go to http://www.nova.edu/~username where username is your NSU email name.
