Determining Current Java Version

To determine the version of Java that you currently have on your Windows computer, follow the steps below.

  1. Go to Start.
    Start Menu
  2. Select Control Panel.
  3. In Control Panel, select Java.

  4. Under the General tab select the About... button.

  5. This will display the current version you have installed on your machine.
