To Configure Dial-up Networking
- Click on the Start
button and go to Dial-Up Networking. It is under the Start menu, then the Programs menu, then the Accessories menu, and then Communications.
NOTE: If Dial-Up networking is not an option you must install it from your Windows 98 disks. See our Windows 98 documentation for installation instructions.

- Double click on the
icon.

- Specify a name for your NSU configuration and click on Next.

- Enter 452-3300 and click on Next.

- Click on Finish.

- Right click on NSU and select Properties.

- Click Server Types.

- Remove the check mark from NetBEUI and IPX/SPX Compatible and click OK.
- Double-click on the NSU icon in the Dial-up Networking window.
- Click on Dial Properties.

- Click on Area Code Rules. Put a check next to Always dial the area code (10-digit dialing) as shown below.

- Click on OK.
- Click on Apply. Click on OK.
To connect to NSU
- Click on the Start
button and go to Dial-Up Networking. It is under the Start menu, then the Programs menu, and then the Accessories menu.

- Double click on the name of the PPP Configuration you just set up.

- Enter your User name and Password and click on Connect.
- Click on the minimized PPP connection window and then click on the Disconnect.
