To Configure Dial-up Networking

 

  1. From the desktop, right click on and select Properties.



  2. Double-click on Make New Connection



  3. Click Next.



  4. Select Dial-up to private network and click Next.



  5. Enter the phone number 452-3300 and click Next.



  6. Select For all users and click Next.



  7. Enter a name for the connection and click Finish. The following window will appear.



  8. Click on Dialing Rules.



  9. Click on Edit. Click on the tab labeled Area Code Rules.



  10. Click on New. Enter 954 next to the Area Code field. Put a check next to Include the area code as shown below.



  11. Click on OK.



  12. Click on Apply. Click on OK.

  13. Again, click on Apply. Click on OK.

 

To connect to NSU

  1. Double-click in the icon on the desktop. If the icon is not present, right click on My Network Places and select Properties.



  2. Enter your User name and Password and click Dial.



  3. When the connection is complete, the dial-up icon appears in the system tray.

 

To disconnect from NSU

  1. Right click on the icon on the desktop and click Disconnect. If the icon is not present, right click in the dial-up icon in the system tray and select Disconnect.
