Enabling Java in IE 5.1 for Mac OS X
Online courses offered through WebCT require Java to be enabled so you may access the chat rooms. Also, some websites on the Internet require Java so you can view certain features of the pages. To enable Java follow the instructions below.
- Open Internet Explorer.
- From the Explorer menu, choose Preferences.
- Select Java in the Web Browser list.
- Check the box next to Enable Java.
Note: Enabling Java in Internet Explorer can cause the program to crash when going to some sites. If this is the case, disable Java when going to those sites.
- Click the OK button.
