Account POP Setup Instructions
- Start up Outlook Express.
- Click on Tools and select Accounts.
- Click on the Mail tab. You will get the following screen:

- Click on the Add button and select Mail.
- Enter your full name on the following screen, and click on the Next button.

- Enter your full Email Address on the following screen, and click on the Next button.

- Enter pop.nova.edu on the Incoming mail server: line. Enter pop.nova.edu on the Outgoing mail server: line. Your screen should look like the following. When finished click on the Next button.

- Enter your login name on the POP account name: line. Enter your password on the Password: line. Your screen should look like the following. When finished click on the Next button.

- Enter a name for this Mail setup on the following screen. When finished click on the Next button.

- If you are connecting into the system via a PPP connection, choose Connect using my phone line on the following screen. If you are running on a network choose Connect using my local area network on the following screen. When finished click on the Next button. If you are using a local area network go to step 13 of these instructions.

- Select you modem. When finished click on the Next button.
- Select your dial up connection. This would be the one you created in Dial-up Networking. For more information on this see the Win95 PPP Setup documentation. When finished click on the Next button.

- You have now finished the setup. Click on the Finish button.
- If you want to leave a copy of your mail messages on your NSU account, select NSU Mail and click on the Properties button. Click on the Advanced tab. Put a check in the box next to Leave a copy of message on the server. When finished click on the Ok button.

- Click on Close on the Internet Accounts screen.
- Click on Tools and select Options.
- Click on the Send tab. Put a check in the box next to Send messages immediately. The screen should look like the following screen. When finished click on the Ok button.
