Elive Assistance
eLive is an online, interactive, instructor-led learning environment. It allows students and instructors to interact using live audio, text messaging, and whiteboard tool. Please check the Helpful Links section for more options.
Very Important!
In order to run and install eLive, you must have permission to install software on your machine. You must either be an administrator on your machine, or be granted permission by an administrator to do installations.
If you do not log on to your machine, and are its only user, you are probably the administrator.

Please note that Elluminate does not support Mac OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard) and Windows 7 for customers using Elluminate Live!, Publish! and Plan!. Elluminate will actively test these operating systems as they are released and will offer full product support on these operating systems in the near future. The supported systems are :
Windows:
- Windows XP (32 bit) or Vista (32 or 64 bit)
- Pentium III 1 GHz processor
- Internet Explorer 7, Internet Explorer 8, or Firefox 3.0
- Sun Java 1.5.0_17, Sun Java 1.6.0_12
Macintosh:
- Mac OS X 10.5
- G4, G5 or Intel processor
- Safari 3, Firefox 3.0
- Apple Java 1.5.0_16 (J2SE5 - 32 bit), Apple Java 1.6.0_07 (J2SE6 - 64 bit)
Linux:
- openSUSE 11 (64 bit) or Ubuntu 8.10 (64 bit)
- Pentium III 1 GHz processor
- Firefox 3.0
- Sun Java 1.5.0_17, Sun Java 1.6.0_12
UltraSPARC Solaris:
- Solaris 10 (SPARC only)
- UltraSPARC IIc 500 MHz processor
- Firefox 3.0

In addition, all clients require:
- Java version 1.5 or higher. Note: Windows users can use only the 32-bit version of Java (not the 64-bit version).
- 256 MB of free RAM
- 20 MB free disk space
- 28.8 kbps Internet connection
- Speaker and Microphone, headsets are preferred
The following Operating Systems are no longer supported by Elluminate and likely will not work with Elluminate Live! V9.5:
- Windows 2000
- Solaris 10 x86
The following Operating Systems may work with Elluminate Live! V9.5; however have not been tested and therefore not supported by Elluminate. Some functions may not operate expectedly:
- Windows 7
- Mac OS X 10.4
- Mac OS X 10.6
- RedHat Enterprise Linux 5
- Novell SUSE 10
