What is it used for?

Your NSU email account information will allow you to access your email, any online courses through WebCT and online evaluations.

What is it?

Your NSU Email Name is created automatically when you become a new student, faculty, or staff member of NSU. Your NSU Email Name will also be your SharkLink ID. If you are new at NSU and need to retrieve your NSU Email Name/SharkLink ID and password, please visit Retrieve Your SharkLink ID.

If you're not sure if you have an email account, please contact our office at (954) 262-4357 or (800) 541-6682 x2HELP. Be prepared to give us your student number so we can check your account.

How do I check my NSU email?

You can check your NSU email from any computer with an internet connection at http://mail.nova.edu. Or, if you'd like to configure your email client, click here.

How do I access my WebCT course?

You can access your WebCT course at http://webct.nova.edu. Click on Login. Normally, courses you are registered for will show up anywhere from the day your course starts to three days beforehand.

What if I've forgotten my password?

If you have forgotten your password you will need to contact our office to have it changed. Please be advised: we are only able to reset passwords for students. Faculty and staff members will need to contact their program office. Email Password Reset Information

How do I change my password?

If you know your current password and would like to change it (recommended), visit the Web Password Change Utility.

NSU ID and PIN   

What is it?

For information regarding your NSU ID, please visit NSU's Understanding Your NSU Identity page. Your PIN is a six-digit number that is randomly assigned to you by the university.

Your NSU ID and PIN will allow you access to your records at http://webstar.nova.edu.

How do I get it?

Once you have completed all admissions requirements, this is automatically sent to your mailing address.

I've forgotten my PIN. What do I do now?

If you have forgotten your PIN, but have accessed the system before, try entering your NSU ID and click on Forgot PIN. This will allow you to answer the security question that you set up. You must answer this exactly as you originally typed it. It is case-sensitive. Once you've correctly answered the question, you will be prompted to change your PIN to something you can easily remember. Remember that it should be 6 numbers.

If you are a current student who has misplaced your PIN and have never accessed the system before, please go to https://www.nova.edu/sbin/sharklink/identity/ to retrieve your PIN online. Please be advised that if you are not a current/active student, you will need to receive your information via US Postal Service mail.

If you've never received your PIN, please go to https://www.nova.edu/webforms/help/pinreq.html. Be advised, once you've submitted this form your PIN will be changed to a new number and sent to your current mailing address on file. We are not able to give PINs by phone, fax or email. It must be sent to your current mailing address.
