NSU Email Account pieces of email

Your NSU SharkLink ID/Email Name is created automatically when you become a new student, faculty, or staff member at NSU. If you are new at NSU and need to retrieve your SharkLink ID/NSU Email Name and password, please visit Retrieve Your SharkLink ID.

If you're not sure you have a SharkLink ID/Email Name, please contact our office at (954) 262-4357 or 800-541-6682, ext. 24357. Be prepared to give us your student (NSU ID) number so we can check your account.

Your NSU SharkLink/Email account information will allow you to access your NSU email, any online course through WebCT or Blackboard, online evaluations and more.

Your NSU SharkLink ID/Email account is created automatically once you become an excepted student or hired employee at NSU.

You can check your NSU email from any computer with an Internet connection at WebMail (mail.nova.edu) or through SharkLink (sharklink.nova.edu).

Students and Faculty can access WebCT at www.nova.ed/webct and Blackboard can be accessed on the SharkLink (sharklink.nova.edu) home page via the SharkLearn menu.

Normally, courses you are registered for will show up anywhere from the day your course starts to three days beforehand.

If you have forgotten your password you will need to contact our office to have it changed. A typical NSU password usually consists of 4 letters and 4 numbers for a total of 8 characters.

Please be advised: We are only able to reset passwords for students. Faculty and staff members will need to contact their program office.

NSU (WebSTAR) ID and PIN Pin

For information regarding your NSU ID, please visit NSU's Understanding Your NSU Identity page. Your PIN is a eight-digit number that is randomly assigned to you by the university.

Your NSU ID and PIN will allow you access to your records at http://webstar.nova.edu.

Once you have completed all admissions requirements, this is automatically sent to your mailing address.

If you have forgotten your PIN, but have accessed the system before, try entering your NSU ID and click on Forgot PIN. This will allow you to answer the security question that you set up. You must answer this exactly as you originally typed it. It is case-sensitive. Once you've correctly answered the question, you will be prompted to change your PIN to something you can easily remember. Remember that it should be 8 numbers.

If you are a current student who has misplaced your PIN and have never accessed the system before, please go to www.nova.edu/nsuid to retrieve your PIN online. Please be advised that if you are not a current/active student, you will need to receive your information via US Postal Service mail.

If you've never received your PIN, please go to https://www.nova.edu/webforms/help/pinreq.html. Be advised, once you've submitted this form your PIN will be changed to a new number and sent to your current mailing address on file. We are not able to give PINs by phone, fax or email. It must be sent to your current mailing address.
