Fall Prevention Clinic
A free evaluation of adults who are at risk for falls due to balance problems. This service provides a one-time, comprehensive, multiple discipline evaluation for balance and fall risk factors. Lifelong Learning Institute
University level classes and enhance fitness classes. Serving the learning interests and needs of the growing experienced older adult and retirement community in Broward County, the LLI has a membership of experienced older adults who attend an extensive program of lectures, workshops, discussion groups and field trips. Members learn from renowned NSU faculty members, exciting peer leaders, and prominent visiting experts in such fields as humanities, sciences, health and government. Many of the speakers, faculty and guests, come for a single event, while others come for a short series, e.g. once a month or whatever fits their topics.

Vision evaluations for individuals over age 70, focusing on ocular disease affecting the elderly. PD Exercise Group
The PD exercise group meets on Mondays and Wednesdays. It is led by a NSU Physical Therapist. The exercisers are encouraged to exercise at home as well. The group is open to those in all stages of PD, however, most exercises have been developed for people who are in the early-to middle-stage of PD.
