Dr. Debra Feingold Stern, PT, MSM, DBA serves on the full-time faculty as an associate professor in the Physical Therapy Department of Nova Southeastern University in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. She received her BS in Physical Therapy (PT) from the State University of NY at Buffalo, her Master of Science in Management from Rollins College, Winter Park, FL and her Doctor of Business Administration with a Health Services Administration Specialty at Nova Southeastern University. Dr. Stern teaches geriatrics and serves as the ACCE for the junior level clinical education component of the entry level DPT program in which she orients and places students full-time for 4 weeks in skilled nursing facilities, and serves as a faculty Clinical Instructor in the self contained clinical education program component in geriatrics in a 1:10 collaborative model. In her role as Service Learning coordinator, she is responsible for determining appropriate activities, managing the record keeping and coordinating efforts with other services and departments within the university and community partners, primarily serving the aging population. She also is a participant in the Geriatric Education Center.
