Dr. Leonard A. Levy is Associate Dean, Education, Planning and Research; Director, Center for Bioterrorism and All-Hazards Preparedness, and Professor of Family Medicine and Public Health, Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Fort Lauderdale. Author of almost 100 journal articles and two major texts, he has lectured nationwide to physicians and other health professionals. He holds a doctorate in podiatric medicine and masters of public health from Columbia University School of Public Health. Among many of his previous positions has been Vice-President for Planning and Research at the Des Moines University for Health Sciences, Full-Time Consultant to the President at the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston, President of the California College of Podiatric Medicine, and Clinical Associate Professor of Dermatology at Stanford University School of Medicine. He is a Life Member of the American Public Health Association and the American Academy of Dermatology.
