Family Day Weekend
Nova Southeastern University invites you to attend Family Weekend 2011, a celebration for parents, grandparents, and extended family. Please join us on this weekend, which we will provide your family the opportunity to get to know our University and everything it has to offer. You can reconnect with your student and their friends while discovering more about his or her life here as you participate in socials, picnics and information workshops. Bring your whole family and take time to meet other Nova Southeastern families!

Friday, October 21
- 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. Explore the Campus on your own:
- Tour the Alvin Sherman Library
- Tour the Huizenga School Sales Institute: DeSantis Bldg. Room 3000
- Tour the Farquhar College Department of Performing and Visual Arts
- Bookstore – purchase your NSU gear
- Financial Aid/Bursar – review your students awards and charges
- RecPlex – Free admission to the RecPlex after check in. View their group exercise class schedule.
- 1:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. Check-In: Don Taft University Center, Flight Deck
- 2:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. Faculty and Staff Workshops – Topics subject to change
- 2:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m.

- 10:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. Check-In at The Commons Residence Hall, room 123
- 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. Coffee with the Dean of Student Affairs at Starbucks in the Don Taft University Center. Join the Dean in a casual conversation regarding topics of your interest or concern.
- 11:00 a.m. - Noon Parent and Family Alliance Meeting: Learn about getting involved in the Parent and Family Alliance.
- *Noon - 2:00 p.m.BBQ Picnic & Student Entertainment - $10 p/p; free for your NSU student
- 4:00 p.m. - Women's Volleyball Game: NSU v. Eckerd, at the Don Taft University Center Arena
- 7:00 p.m. - Men's Soccer Game: NSU v. Tampa, at the Soccer Complex
- 8:00 p.m. Riverfront Dessert Cruise: Join us for a casual evening on the riverfront with NSU administrators. There is limited availability for this event. $25 p/p (family); $10 p/p (NSU student)
Sunday, October 23
