Rotary Club of Weston Scholarship and NSU Match Partnership

Requirements: Current senior students from Weston and Cypress Bay High Schools who meet the following requirements are eligible to apply. Must be an incoming new full-time, fully accepted Main Campus Day undergraduate students with a minimum 3.5 high school GPA and 1100 SAT / 24 ACT. Selected student for scholarship will become an actively engaged member of the NSU Rotaract student community service based organization and remain active for the duration of their student status at NSU. Students must apply through the Weston Rotary Club application process and should contact their BRACE or guidance counselor for more information.

Requirements: Awards are made to 2nd, 3rd, and 4th year continuing NSU Undergraduate students. Recipients must have a minimum GPA of 3.5 or higher. The scholarship committee will consider academic excellence and financial need as determined by your FAFSA and your expected family contribution. The award amount varies from $1,000 to $2,000. Please submit applications and letters of recommendation to the Office of Student Financial Assistance Scholarship Department. We will not accept faxes.

Tate Scholarship

Award Amount: one time award of $1000

Requirements: Applicants must be current or entering undergraduates who demonstrate financial need. Successful applicants, who remain eligible, may apply for the scholarship again in the future.

Trustee Scholarship Fund for Students

Award Amount: $2500

Requirements: Awards are made to first year entering Graduate and first year entering Undergraduate full time students. Leadership ability, community/volunteer activities and academic excellence will be considered in the awarding process. Minimum GPA is 3.5. Scholarships are renewable with a GPA of 3.2, based on available funds. Please submit applications along with prior schools unofficial transcripts to the Office of Student Financial Services Scholarship Department. Due to the number of students applying, we will only notify the students selected.

Undergrad Financial Aid Grant

Award Amount: Varies based on unmet financial need and expected family contribution (EFC)

Deadline: Award for new students and renewals are based on available funds. Award is determined at the time of admission and based on if a completed FAFSA is on file at NSU by the deadline of March 15th. Renewal: Yes; if maintain a 2.5 GPA, and fulltime enrollment for fall and winter. FAFSA deadline is March 15th for renewals as well.

Requirements: This is offered to incoming undergraduate students in the traditional undergraduate day program. Full-time enrollment is required. This award is only designated for Undergraduate programs and budgets. FAFSA must be filed each year by March 15. If students drop below full time during the term, their awards are canceled.

Victims of 911 Undergraduate Scholarship

Award Amount: One award for all cost of tuition for up to four years

Requirements: A daughter or son of a victim in the September 11, 2001, tragedy ( New York World Trade Center, Pentagon, Pennsylvania field). Must be admitted into the Professional and Liberal Arts Undergraduate Program on main campus. Recent high school graduate must have a minimum high school GPA of 3.5 and SAT score of 1100 or higher.
