Due to the time commitment involved, graduate assistants at Nova Southeastern University are not permitted to simultaneously hold outside employment.

Are graduate assistantships available to all graduate students?
Although all graduate students are encouraged to apply for graduate assistantships, preference will be given to those candidates that are accepted and enrolled in the Master of Science in College Student Affairs program in the School of Humanities and Social Sciences.
As an international student, am I eligible to be a graduate assistant?
Graduate students classified as international students should confer with the NSU Office of International Students to determine their eligibility for a GA position.
How much time are graduate assistants permitted to take off?
All graduate assistants on a 12-month contract are permitted to take 15 vacation/personal days per year. All vacation/personal days must gain prior approval from a supervisor.
