Application Process
All graduate assistant applicants must possess a bachelor's/master's degree and matriculate into a graduate program at NSU. Preference will be given to those candidates that are accepted and enrolled in the Master of Science in College Student Affairs program in the School of Humanities and Social Sciences. In order to be considered for a position, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Submit a letter of application/cover letter outlining your experience and any specific areas of expertise you have that are relevant to the work of Student Affairs.
- Submit a current resume.
- Candidates must be accepted and enrolled in a graduate program at NSU when the Graduate Assistant appointment begins.

Candidates with whom directors wish to have follow-up interviews will be invited to attend the College Student Affairs Association (CSAA) Interview Days on March 16 - 18, 2012. Invitations will provide further information regarding lodging and meals. Candidates are responsible for their own transportation and travel arrangements.
Representatives from Nova Southeastern University will be attending the Oshkosh Placement Exchange in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, March 1 - 4, 2012. If you have plans to attend and are interested in meeting representatives, please contact us through the Oshkosh Placement Exchange site.
Graduate students classified as international students should confer with the office of International Students and Scholars to determine their eligibility for a GA position.
The graduate assistantship application process and the academic admissions process are separate but concurrent processes. You must submit both applications.
Applications will be accepted beginning October 3, 2011.
Applications deadline is March 5, 2012.
