Lost and Found

The NSU Lost and Found center is located within the Public Safety Security Operations Center at the Parker Building on main campus (north side/first floor) and is open 24/7.

  • A picture ID is required to claim property.

Report a Lost NSU SharkCard

Report your lost or stolen NSU SharkCard by completing the NSU Campus Card Services

Safety Escorts

Public Safety provides safety escorts upon request to anyone within the NSU community, within NSU property limits, 24 hours a day. Please call (954) 262-8999 and advise the on duty dispatcher of the location where an officer may meet you.

Vehicle Assistance

Public Safety assists anyone within the NSU community, within NSU property limits, in restarting their vehicles or unlocking the vehicle doors if needed, 24 hours a day. Public Safety does not change flat tires or perform other mechanical repair services. Public Safety officers may be able to pump air into a tire if it is not broken from the rim or slashed.

All individuals requesting assistance must sign a release of liability form for all vehicle assistance services before assistance may be provided.

Van Driver Training

Nova Southeastern University policy mandates that all personnel/staff/students who either are required to, or wish to use, a NSU van, must first successfully complete the Van Driver Training course provided by NSU Public Safety.

University Locksmith

The Locksmith Office is responsible for administering, planning, and organizing the physical security systems of all NSU properties.

The Locksmith responds to emergency and non-emergency communications from NSU departments, serving as an activator for resource allocation of in-house services and vendors associated with physical security systems.
