Audiology Department Holds White Coat Ceremony

The Audiology Department at NSU’s College of Allied Health and Nursing recently held its annual White Coat Ceremony for students in the doctor of audiology program, class of 2013.

The white coat symbolizes goodness, compassion, the commitment to “do no harm,” and a seriousness of purpose to provide quality care to patients.

This year, 17 students received white coats from student mentors who are in the second and third year of the audiology program. In addition to students and faculty members, the ceremony was attended by friends, and family of the recipients.
