M.B.A. Grad Named Chief of Staff for Governor Crist Shane Strum, a graduate of the Master of Business Administration program in NSU's H. Wayne Huizenga School of Business and Entrepreneurship, was recently named the Chief of Staff for Florida Governor Charlie Crist. Strum, who currently serves as Deputy Chief of Staff to Gov. Crist, will take over his new duties on Nov. 3. Strum also served as the director of corporate and government affairs for the Huzienga School from 1995 to 2000. “Shane’s past experience as a successful businessman combined with his experience in our administration on the important issues of transportation and business have prepared him well to lead our office,” Gov. Crist said. “He has shown tremendous leadership, and I am confident he will serve the people of Florida well.” Strum, 40, currently oversees a portfolio of Governor’s agencies vital to Florida’s economic growth that includes the Departments of Transportation, Education and Business and Professional Regulation. He has championed such issues for the administration as strategic transportation and infrastructure planning and higher education reform.
