Atlanta Alumni Chapter Raises Awareness about Autism
NSU’s Atlanta Alumni Chapter recently hosted, “A Night of Autism Awareness,” and welcomed autism expert Roni Cohen Leiderman, Ph.D., dean of the Mailman Segal Institute for Early Childhood Studies, as the keynote speaker. The evening included a silent auction with select items from Airtran, Atlanta Falcons football team, and Atlanta Braves baseball team. The silent auction benefited the Mailman Segal Institute’s Baudhuin Preschool, an internationally recognized model program for children with autism spectrum disorders.
