Maryland College Names NSU College of Dental Medicine Professor as its Alumni of the Year

McDaniel College in Westminster, MD recently named an NSU College of Dental Medicine (CDM) professor as its Alumni of the Year. Sharon C. Siegel, D.D.S., M.S., chair of CDM’s prosthodontics department, was honored at the college’s Alumni Association Awards Ceremony and Brunch on Oct. 24 during the 2009 Homecoming Weekend. She also attended a Brunch and Awards Ceremony with McDaniel College President Joan Coley and took part in a parade to the college’s football stadium.

“I am truly honored that the alumni from McDaniel College have acknowledged my accomplishments in the dental profession,” said Siegel, who graduated from the college in 1971. Siegel joined NSU’s College of Dental Medicine in 2003.

Located 30 miles northwest of Baltimore, McDaniel College is a liberal arts and sciences institution of higher learning that offers life-changing education to undergrad and grad students.
