Come See a Slice of Americana at the Museum of Art | Fort Lauderdale From Nov 14 – Feb. 7, the Museum of Art | Fort Lauderdale, a division of NSU, will host the exhibit, "American Chronicles: The Art of Norman Rockwell." Rockwell is a known force in 20th century American art. He is best characterized by his genius for celebrating the commonplace – for ennobling the ordinary to reveal the extraordinary. This major exhibition organized by the Norman Rockwell Museum in Stockbridge, Mass., features 42 original works, the legendary patriotic series "The Four Freedoms" and all 323 of Rockwell's Saturday Evening Post covers.
