Law Students Volunteer at Civil Rights Restoration Workshop More than 30 students from NSU's Shepard Broad Law Center provided pro bono services at a Sealing/Expunging and Civil Rights Restoration Workshop held at Strayer University on Oct. 24. At the workshop, which was sponsored by Florida State Rep. Perry Thurston Jr., the students provided information and processed forms for citizens who are taking steps to have their rights restored. Rep. Thurston noted the work of the students in a radio interview and other professionals who took part also commended the students for their work on behalf of the citizens of Broward County.
