GSCIS Doctoral Candidate Publishes Chapter in Cyber Book

Gerard Christman, doctoral candidate in information systems from the Graduate School of Computer and Information Sciences, has published a chapter in the book Cyberpower and National Security. The chapter is titled "Facilitating Stability Operations with Cyberpower." The book was published by Potomac Books, Inc. in April 2009

The book is intended to help create a coherent framework for understanding and utilizing cyberpower to support national security. The chapters for this book were the product of several workshops at which experts from government, think tanks, industry and academia presented their views on the major subject areas.

Christman is a Program Manager with Femme Comp Incorporated (FCI) supporting the U.S. Assistant Secretary of Defense for Networks and Information Integration. He served 23 years as an officer in the U.S. Army Signal Corps before joining FCI in 2003.
