SHSS Faculty featured in Miami Herald article about Children and Summer Learning

Anne Rambo, Ph.D., faculty in the Department of Family Therapy (DFT) in the Graduate School of Humanities and Social Sciences (SHSS) was interviewed for a Miami Herald article entitled “Combine fun, learning to keep kids' minds active during summer. Rambo stressed that, “Summer is a great chance to help the child become a more fully developed person.''

Rambo is the author of the book, I Know My Child Can Do Better: A Frustrated Parent’s Guide to Educational Solutions, and the founder of ChildFit. ChildFit helps parents navigate the school system. She is also the faculty supervisor for SUPERB, Students United with Parents and Educators to Resolve Bullying.
