Fischler School Offers 40% Tuition Discount for Laid-Off Broward Teachers NSU’s Fischler School of Education and Human Services is helping Broward County’s laid-off teachers by offering a one-time 40 percent tuition reduction to be applied toward an entire advanced degree. The Fischler School is reaching out to those teachers who have lost their jobs through surplus staffing during recent cutbacks. This tuition rate will be applied to the tuition in place each term, and registration must be completed by Aug. 10, 2009. In the face of today's economic reality, the Fischler School feels that this is the best time for teachers to consider an advanced degree program in reading, ESL, special education, math education, or science education, among many others, at the M.S., Ed.S., and Ed.D. levels — some of the most sought after areas of certification. Classes may be taken onsite or online, and a fast-track option providing quick access to new areas of certification is also available. For more information, please call 954-262-7957 or email FischlerINFO@nova.edu. Certain rules and restrictions apply, pending verified eligibility.
