Fischler School, Miami SEC host Miami-Dade Schools Superintendent

The Fischler School of Education and Human Services and the Miami Student Educational Center hosted Miami-Dade County Public Schools Superintendent Alberto Carvalho on Saturday, Feb. 7, 2009. His keynote address entitled “Where are We? How Can we Make a Difference?” connected broader themes of the importance of public education and the impact that community has on education with specific concerns in M-DCPS and in Miami-Dade.
