CPS Professor Opens National Association of School Psychologists Convention

Center for Psychological Studies associate professor Ralph “Gene” Cash, Ph.D., NCSP.

Center for Psychological Studies associate professor Ralph “Gene” Cash, Ph.D., NCSP, serving as president of the National Association of School Psychologists, opened the 2009 National Convention in Boston this month as keynote speaker.

The conference was the second largest in the organization’s history with over 5,000 in attendance and included CPS professor Lenore Walker, Ed.D., ABPP, as a featured presenter on “Domestic Violence: Implications for School Psychologists.”

The CPS alumni, interns, students and friends event during the convention in Boston was attended by over 100 guests and was hosted by Dean Karen Grosby, M.Ed.  The event recognized Dr. Cash, distinguished alumni and those attending the convention or from the Boston area.
