Student Animal Legal Defense Fund Supporting Fundraising Events

The Student Animal Legal Defense at the Shepard Broad Law Center is inviting the NSU community to participate in the Animal Rights Foundation of Florida benefit entitled “Wine, Wags and Wasabi.” The benefit will be held on Sunday, April 13, from 5:30 – 7 p.m. at Sublime Restaurant, located at 1431 N. Federal Highway in Fort Lauderdale.

Tickets for the benefit are $25 for pre-registration by April 8 and limited tickets are available for $35 at the door. Guests will enjoy wine, hors d’oeuvres, and raffle prizes courtesy of Sublime Restaurant. To make reservations with a credit card, please contact ARFF at (954) 727-2733. Additionally, the Student Animal Legal Defense Fund also invites you to join “Walk for Wildlife” on April 19. The event will be held at Quite Waters Park, located at 401 S. Powerline Road in Deerfield Beach. Registration is at 9:30 a.m. and the 1.25 mile walk starts at 11 a.m.

Walking as a flock/group is only $500 and each member of the flock will receive a custom T-shirt. As an individual participant, each person who raises $75 will receive a T-shirt.
