Nova Southeastern University's "Your Future. Your Terms" advertising campaign was recently recognized in two national awards competitions.

In February, the Admissions Advertising Awards, the largest educational awards competition in the U.S. and the American Advertising Federation's Addy Awards, the ad industry's highly-respected creative shootout, issued top citations to NSU in multiple categories including Best of Show.

The Admissions Advertising Awards criteria is based on both marketing results and creativity and Addy's are bestowed for the most compelling and creative advertising.

NSU's new campaign won a total of 12 distinctions including Best of Show in the Admissions Advertising Awards held in Atlanta, which included over 2,000 entries from over 1,000 institutions from all 50 states and several foreign countries.

Five NSU awards were garnered in this year's Addy Awards Miami event which recognized the best work for top brands including Fortune 500 firms.

Dave Dawson, executive director of university relations for NSU said "We're honored that NSU has been recognized by two separate industry organizations. It validates the hard work invested by our advertising agency, Tinsley Advertising and the university's marketing staff who collaborated on an effort that is effective and creative."

The campaign is an integrated mix of traditional and new media targeted against cross-generational audiences and represents months of research and development. Dorn Martell, Tinsley's EVP, creative director said, "Our challenge was to craft a message that resonated with today's undergraduate and graduate students while communicating the attributes of an institution known for innovation."
