GSCIS Students Publish Articles on Information Security

The Peltier Associates Year in Review 2007, a journal on information security, published two articles authored by students in the Graduate School of Computer and Information Sciences.

Faith M. Heikkila, a doctoral candidate in the Ph.D. in Information Systems program, published "Data Leakage: The Insidious Threat." Heikkila is regional security services manager for Pivot Group, an information security services company.

Nanette S. Poulios, a student in the Ph.D. in Information Systems program, published her paper, "Risk Assessment Methodology for Small Business (RASB)." Poulios is assistant professor at Walsh College in Troy, Mich.
