The Farquhar College of Arts and Sciences, the Fischler School of Education and Human Services, and the H. Wayne Huizenga School of Business and Entrepreneurship will jointly hold NSU’s 2008 Undergraduate Commencement Exercises on Saturday, May 10, at 4 p.m. in the BankAtlantic Center.

Each year, the undergraduate commencement exercises pay tribute to our distinguished graduating students. Please join us in recognizing the hard work and dedication of these students in earning their bachelor’s degree.

The 2008 Commencement Speaker is former ambassador Joseph Wilson, who will address an audience of more than 5,000 students, family members, and friends at the ceremony. Wilson’s highly decorated diplomatic career spanned over two decades, including service as acting ambassador to Iraq during Operation Desert Shield. Serving under five U.S. presidents, Wilson has held posts as ambassador in Africa, as well as other senior government appointments in Africa, Europe, and the Middle East. He is author of the memoir The Politics of Truth.

The Class of 2008, their families, and friends are also invited to attend the Baccalaureate Reception the night before Commencement. The reception provides the NSU community with an opportunity to recognize the accomplishments of graduates in a social setting. The reception, which is free, will take place on Friday, May 9, from 6-8 p.m. in the University Center. Business attire is required.
